FEBRUARY CHARITY OF THE MONTH

Back in December we held a Christmas Service of Remembrance at Darlington Crematorium to reflect on the wonderful lives we have helped celebrate, pay tribute to and say farewell to. We had a Christmas Tree on display at the Remembrance Service and in both our Darlington and Newton Aycliffe offices where families could place a tag in remembrance of their loved ones. We asked for a small donation for our chosen charities - ManHealth and First Stop Darlington.

Dorothy Whitehouse and the ladies from Sharing Together Crafts decided that for this months charity, they would like to donate £500 towards the Remembrance Tree donations meaning the total raised was a massive £1992.78!

Earlier this month we presented a cheque to ManHealth in the sum of £992.78 and we also presented a cheque to First Stop Darlington in the sum of £1000.00.

We would like to thank all of the families who came along to our Remembrance Service and for the very generous donations received for these very deserving charities, which was greatly appreciated.
