First 'Bereavement Friendship Group' launched...
November 18th, 2010

The first 'Bereavement Friendship Group' will be taking place in December.

Whitehouse Funeral Service and The Reverend Christine Blakesley have joined together to bring Darlington's first 'Bereavement Friendship Group'. Once a funeral has taken place and all relatives and friends have returned back home the fear of loneliness can bring on more pain and anxiety for the bereaved. Both John Whitehouse and Christine Blakesley felt it was time to extend their support given. 'From the first call we receive through to the funeral we are there 24 hours of the day for the bereaved family' said John 'however more thought and effort needs to be in place for after the funeral has taken place'.

So with this in mind there will be an informal get together for anyone who has had a bereavement on 9 December 2010 in St Herbert's Church Hall, which can be found on Albatross Way, Darlington. There will be refreshments from 10.30am  -  12noon.

All Welcome.

Come and join us if you can help in anyway or feel you just want to talk or listen.
